Marine Transaction Services AS (MTS) announces that John Inge Røtting has accepted the position as Sales Director with effect from 29 September 2004. Mr. Røtting has worked within the marine marked for 18 years and brings with him extensive experience from the marine software industry. Mr. Røtting has held senior sales and marketing positions with Shipnet and Xantic (Spectec), he also has a bachelor degree in economical and administrative studies. 45-years-old Mr. Røtting will be responsible for all MTS sales activities towards ship owners/operators and marine suppliers.
MTS activity level is constantly increasing and MTS has now provided electronic transmission of procurement transactions for more than 600 vessels. MTS is further the first in the marine market to successfully implement electronic invoicing. Mr. Røttings addition to the MTS team enables MTS to meet and follow up even more customers and market initiatives and Mr. Røtting will play an important global role in the organisation.
