In response to customer demand, Marine Transaction Services (MTS) has expanded operations in the Asia Pacific area by opening a regional office located in Singapore. The MTS office will initially employ 2 representatives, a General Manager who will take on a strategic planning and implementation role, and a Sales and Marketing Manager who will be the point of contact for customers and potential customers. The two new recruits come from within the industry, both with a background from the purchasing environment.

Technical operation of MTS and European and American sales efforts will still be coordinated from MTS corporate headquarters in Oslo.
