CNCo is UK-registered and managed from Hong Kong. CNCo and its managed liner services serve over 130 ports worldwide employing a mix of owned and chartered vessels. The current CNCo fleet now stands at 48, 18 owned and 30 chartered vessels.
The relationship between CNCo and MTS goes back to 2003 when CNCo engaged MTS as its e-commerce provider. Implementation of the MTS e-business solution was comprehensive but very successful. All elements related to streamlining the business processes and workflows and strengthening business relationships were part of the implementation in order to meet the expectations of taking cost out of the supply chain. This is a key focus for MTS.
Martin Cresswell, Director and General Manager Fleet of CNCo says: “I am very pleased with MTS and the results achieved so far. CNCo will continue to use MTS.”
He further explains that: “MTS has brought efficiency and better operational control to the company’s purchasing through its e-business- and various supplier enablement solutions. Over 70% of CNCo’s purchases are now directed via MTS improving, speed, efficiency, transparency and costs.”
BK Lim, Area General Manager, MTS Asia Pacific says: “It has been a great pleasure working with CNCo. The company is one of the most advanced users of e-commerce. CNCo has also been a great challenge to MTS as they demanded a near perfect system, 24/7 support and prompt responses which MTS duly responded to. Maintaining customer satisfaction is a top priority in MTS. MTS will continue to ensure that CNCo remains a very satisfied customer.”
Mr. Lim continues: “The MTS philosophy is to balance the benefits for both the supplier and ship manager/owner helping the industry to remove costs from the supply chain. MTS is an enabler providing E- Commerce solutions to all parties in the supply chain.”
